Usage
The Item is frequently used by the Insurgency in combat. It is used to make a special kind of ammunition called "DM rounds", with a warhead made out of Death Matter, which is used for high-risk missions. It is also used for terminating Insurgency personnel if necessary. However, the production is very slow and hard, since it is required to use a mechanical arm equipped with a diamond blade for it. "DM rounds" are required to be used with extreme caution, it may cause death if used with inattention.
There were cases of using knives with a blade made of Death Matter, but they were withdrawn due to multiple incidents that caused the death of the user because of inattentive usage of the item.
Report
Item is a black block of unknown black substance. It causes the immediate stopping of vital functions to every living creature that touches it. Direct contact is not required, touching the item through clothing will also cause death. Despite its size, it is very light. Tests showed that alloys of Death Matter and metal aren't causing death immediately. Instead, they start to weaken the organism. Bullets with warheads made of such a material are much more effective in combat.
Appendix (History)
Item was found in one of the coal mines in southern Poland by the mine workers. Detailed location is classified. After one of the miners made contact with the item and died, his colleagues contacted the local authorities and notified them about what they have found. A few minutes later, people with military gear wearing Wz.93 camo uniforms arrived at the scene. These weren't however soldiers of the Polish Armed Forces, but disguised agents of SCP Foundation's Mobile Task Force. They questioned the workers, and after calling a helicopter they captured the object and placed it at one of their nearby facilities. However, Chaos Insurgency agents were spying on them, and soon Insurgency attacked the facility and retrieved the object from the hands of the Foundation.
