In1983, an Insurgent was attempting to purchase equipment for an upcoming training exercise and came upon a military surplus store in South Dakota, which was later found to be selling several pieces of anomalous military gear. The Insurgent in question bought an M2A1 ammunition canister for $7.83. After discovering the ammunition canister's anomalous properties following a three-hour training session at one of the on-base ranges, the Insurgent reported the ITEM to the base's lead researcher.
The ITEM in question is an M2A1 NATO ammunition canister that was manufactured in 1961 by an unknown company, and presents the anomalous property of refilling itself every time the rounds inside are depleted, and the lid is closed for 15 minutes. Until now, the ammo can has been known to be refilled randomly with: loose rounds of 12.7x99mm, loose rounds of 7.62x51mm, loose 12 gauge shells, loose rounds of 9x19mm Parabellum, loose rounds of 11.43×23mm, loose rounds of 7.62x63mm, and linked disintegrating belts of 12.7x99mm, 7.62x63mm, and 7.62x51mm.
On rare occasions, the ammo box may refill itself with an M26 hand grenade, C4 brick, or M4 Selectable Lightweight Attack Munition (SLAM) mine.

Designed in 1994 by Dr. ███████, Tetrafilm is an unusually dense but light compound that provides significant ballistic, explosive, and electrical discharge protection. Usage of sheets of Tetrafilm in 4 mm or more has been shown to be extremely effective as armor while maintaining acceptable freedom of movement. Testing has shown that 4mm sheets of Tetrafilm can withstand:
- M67 fragmentation grenades at a distance of 3.7 meters
- 7.62x63mm, steel core rounds
- Electrical discharges up to 33,200 kV
- Heat in excess of 1,630°C for 35 minutes

Emily DuRoux, codename Mystic-5, is an adolescent French-American female in Insurgency service.
Emily was discovered in 2002 during a sting on a child trafficking ring led by the Hunter’s Black Lodge, after which she was transferred to ███████ to enter an Insurgency-funded schooling program. At around the age of 13, Emily began to exhibit Level-Two reality-bending powers and was immediately placed into temporary containment pending re-classification. However, Cell Director █████ advocated for Emily to remain as a member of the Insurgency despite the presence of anomalous powers, approval granted by the DC Council. Upon reaching the age of 19, Emily was assigned to Mystic squad of Victor-05 “Rogue Mystics” and designated as a grenadier.
As of present, Emily is a Level-Three reality bender and currently holds Gamma-level clearance.
Operation Magic Control
After-Action Report, November 3rd, 2023
Following interception of Foundation intelligence on ancient ruins in ██████████, Uzbekistan believed to belong to the Nälkä, Operation Magic Control was drafted up to attack and control the site long enough for operatives to locate and extract with objects, persons, or information of interest. Victor-05 “Rogue Mystics” was immediately deployed and took control of the site with little resistance. The Foundation research team sent to the site had discovered an underground chamber, and members of the Occult squad and Mystic squad were sent in. Occult-7 noted that the glyphs on the wall were Daevite and detailed skirmishes with the Mekhanites.
Synopsis
This will be a developing list of Insurgency Special Operations Forces (ISOF), serving as a direct counterpart to Foundation MTF units. These are strictly platoon-sized elite units, typically with a Gamma-level clearance. Everyone is free to use them and to add to them. Designation format is NATO Phonetic letter followed by two numerals and then unit nickname in quotations.
