Usage
The item is used to extract resources and manpower for the insurgency. All resources and personnel should start permanently leaving the dimension 2 months before the change occurs. After a change occurs the new dimension is scouted and any humans discovered subjugated before resource extraction can begin (In cases in which subjugation would be too costly diplomacy and subterfuge will be prioritised).
All operations inside the other dimensions are handled by the Expeditionary Division.

The item is a circular interdimensional gate. Its appearance resembles circling energy of crimson colour.
The item has been in Insurgency possession since 1910 but hasn’t been fully utilised until 1940. The first expedition through the gate happened on 7th of July 1910. On 6th of November 1910 the Expeditionary Division was established.
The item is a pathway to different dimensions. The dimension the gate leads to changes every 5 years exactly on midnight December 31 the gate will then be non operational for around 30 minutes before opening back up. It’s uncertain whether it creates these dimensions or simply connects to them, so for no dimension accessible through the gate had major similarities with our dimension (like landmasses, cultures or historical events). It's worth noting that all humans met inside the other dimensions spoke one of our dimension's languages (This is so far the only constant across the dimensions).
The dimensions are often rich with resources and relatively safe to explore. The human population of these dimensions varies from completely desolet to higher than our dimension. On rare occasions anomalous/useful technology or creatures can be found inside the other dimension.
The Expeditionary Division is responsible for all operations in the other dimensions which include: resource extraction, military operations, anomaly extraction, and recruitment. The Expeditionary Division has access to all anomalies extracted from other dimensions and regularly uses them on their missions.
The gate is held inside a 95 metres long, 50 metres wide and 11 metres tall room which serves as both the containment chamber and the Expeditionary Division’s armoury and unloading area for supplies.
